Amplification, explained plainly

Not conventional broker leverage on a trade — your account is funded to a multiple of your own capital, and the same strategy runs on it.

What amplification actually means

Amplified capital is not conventional broker leverage on a trade. Your account is funded to a multiple of the capital you contribute, and the Expert Trader’s strategy runs on that account exactly as it does on every other. The percentages are identical everywhere — what changes is how much capital they apply to.

Round-number teaching example. One percent is used below because it is easy to follow. It is not a target, a forecast, a promise, and not the SONIC historical average — for what actually happened, see the track record and Verify.

Why can amplification be offered?

  • Amplification increases the trading volume the account can execute.
  • The broker connects that amplified account structure with liquidity.
  • Greater trading volume creates broker trading activity and the commercial economics around it.
  • You get amplified exposure to the same strategy — and the correspondingly amplified drawdown exposure.

Amplification increases exposure in both directions. A larger multiplier magnifies drawdowns exactly as it magnifies gains, and the detailed commercial arrangement between the broker and its liquidity providers is not published here.

Initial activated capital is subject to a 30-day withdrawal restriction.

Your remaining days are shown to you while the period runs.

Trading profits

Trading profits are not subject to the initial-capital 30-day restriction.

Available once a CopyX trade has closed, subject to normal operational and broker processing. An open trade is not withdrawable.

Trading participation

The strategy itself is not locked for 30 days — CopyX trading can be stopped where applicable.

Reinvested & added capital

Reinvesting or adding capital restarts the 30-day period for the entire strategy account.

The existing capital and the new amount become one allocation. There is no separate period that applies to the new money alone.

  • Trading losses can and do occur — individual losing trades are normal.
  • Amplification increases exposure; 12X and 24X have different risk characteristics.
  • Drawdown is part of any strategy; the historical maximum does not define the future maximum.

Common questions

CopyX SONIC is a rule-based trading strategy focused on XAU/USD, with an emphasis on controlled risk, disciplined execution and transparent, verifiable reporting. The trading decisions are the Expert Trader's, made to a defined rule set — CopyX automates the replication of that activity into your own account, not the decisions themselves.

All CopyX accounts trade amplified — 12x is the minimum. Your account is funded to a multiple of the capital you contribute, so the strategy's raw percentage applies to 12x or 24x that amount. A round-number example: a 1% raw month is about 12% at 12X or 24% at 24X on your own capital, before applicable fees — and a losing month is amplified by exactly the same factor.

Through your Access Link: register for the CopyX IB Portal and verify your email once — only once. Log in, open your Profile and use the CopyX banner to click “Register to CopyX”. The TAG Markets login opens; sign in with the same email and password, complete KYC and fund your TAG Markets account. CopyX activation follows. The full step-by-step walkthrough lives in Operate.

Two records are published. The CopyX SONIC public account is synced from the broker, so its figures move whenever a trade closes and can be checked trade by trade in Verify. The longer SONIC strategy history is a Myfxbook-derived snapshot that CopyX republishes periodically, and it carries its own last-updated time. Where a verification link is not yet published, it is clearly marked.
